Dominic Hlordzi is a multiple award-winning journalist

He is an Editor-In-Chief/Manager with the Ghana Broadcasting Corporation, (GBC).

He is currently the National Organising Secretary of the Ghana Journalists Association,(GJA).

Mr. Hlordzi is the Head of GBC’s Energy Desk which handles energy-related stories for radio, TV and online.

He is a former Parliamentary and Regional Correspondent.

With over two decades in the media, Mr. Hlordzi was adjudged BestRadioNews Journalist in Ghana for 2009, 2011 and 2012 by the Ghana Journalists Association.

He was also the BestRadioFeature Journalist in Ghana for 2016 at the 22nd Ghana Journalists Awards.

Apart from general reporting,Mr. Hlordzi has specialized in writing in areas such as Governance, Extractives, Energy, Agriculture, Maritime and the Environment.

Mr. Hlordzi is a former Chairman of the Tema Regional Chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association.

He is the Chairman of the Tema District Oversight Committee of the National Governing Council of the African Peer Review Mechanism, APRM.

Mr. Hlordzi is founding member of the Port Journalists Network(PJN)and Media Coalition Against Open Defecation (M-CODe).

Mr. Hlordzi is a product of University of Ghana, Legon, Africa University College of Communications, (AUCC) and the Institute of Commercial Management, (ICM) UK.

He participated in a number of key journalism fellowship training programmes in Ghana and abroad.
