Mr. Ben Kwame Nyadzi was the first Executive Director of CopyGhana from 2013- 2017 after which he was re-engaged as the Executive Director on contract from 2017 to 2022.
During his tenure, CopyGhana was able to license 10 Technical Universities, 5 Private Universities, 46 Colleges of Education and 4 Public Universities.
Mr. Nyadzi holds Teachers Cert ‘A’. from Bimbilla College of Education, Diploma in Education and B.A. Music both from University of Cape-Coast and MPhil. Music from University of Ghana.
He also had the following training among others in Copyright, Related Rights and Collective Management
- WIPO Inter-Regional Introductory Seminar on Copyright and Related Rights in Geneva and Helsinki
- WIPO Sweden Training Course on Copyright And Related Rights in Stockholm
- WIPO, NORCODE Training Course on Copyright and Collective Management in Norway
ARIPO-NORCODE-WIPO-IFRRO Sub-Regional Workshop on new Perspectives on Copyright and Collective Maare.
Mr. Nyadzi also served as a Resource Person as well as represented CopyGhana at International and Regional Conferences on Copyright and Collective Management.
In his working experience Mr. Nyadzi served as:

- Music Tutor and Choirmaster, Awudome Senior High School, Tsito from 1992-1996,
- Graduate Teaching Assistant, Department of Music, University of Ghana 1997-1999.

- Copyright Society of Ghana (COSGA) Board Secretary 2003 — 2007
- Secretary to the Joint Committee on Collective Management Organizations (JCCMO) 2013-2023 and
- Current Vice-Chairman ARS Church New Hymn Book Committee
